The answer lies in Springsteen’s 2009 album “Working on a Dream.” One of the cuts on that album is called “Outlaw Pete,” which is about a bank-robbing baby.

What Springsteen has in common with the other celebrities in our headline is that he’s now written a children’s book. “ ‘Outlaw Pete’ will be published by Simon & Schuster on Nov. 4,” reports USA Today.

The article notes: “Illustrator Frank Caruso came up with the idea of turning ‘Outlaw Pete’ into a book and contributed the artwork that accompanies Springsteen’s lyrics.”

  1. I knew this would happen eventually, ever since I heard the words:
    And little Early-Pearly
    came by in his curly-wurly
and asked me if I needed a ride
