Fox has given a put pilot commitment to a science-fiction drama from “Sleepy Hollow” co-creator and executive producer Len Wiseman, reports Deadline.com.
The project is described as “The Dirty Dozen” in deep space, the article says. The untitled project is set in the future when companies have started to colonize space.
“A mercenary search and rescue team is dispatched to investigate a distress signal from a prison transport that has crashed on an uncharted planet. This unlikely group of heroes will now have to work together when they encounter a much greater challenge on this mysterious planet than they could have anticipated,” the story notes.
Wiseman and “Gang Related” executive producer and showrunner Scott Rosenbaum will executive produce. Rosenbaum will write and serve as showrunner, while Wiseman will direct.
