An ongoing war of words between rapper Snoop Dogg and singer Iggy Azalea took a sinister turn when Snoop “chose the nuclear option” in a new clip, as TMZ.com puts it, “calling her a ‘c**t’ and warning her ‘n**ga’ to put her in check!”

In the clip, posted late Tuesday, Snoop looks into the camera and says: “You’re f**king with the wrong n**ga! And your n**ga betta check you before I do.”

The feud appeared playful in the beginning, but the latest outburst by Snoop Dogg may have been triggered by a posting earlier Tueday by Azalea, TMZ notes. In that post, Azalea reportedly put up a photo of Snoop with a caption reading: “When your drug addict aunt gets clean.”

The war of words and Instagram photos apparently can be traced back to a post by Snoop Dogg. Entertainmentwise reports: “The drama originally started when Snoop Dogg posted a photo of an albino girl, and claimed that’s what Iggy looks like with no make-up on. Iggy then reportedly responded by asking why he posted such a mean tweet when Snoop reportedly sends his bodyguards to asked for pictures with her.”

Azalea’s boyfriend, L.A. Lakers player Nick Young, has also “waded into the feud,” Entertainmentwise reports, “posting a number of tweets blasting the legendary rapper, writing: ‘These old heads turnin into sucka’s .. I’m so West Coast .. Ain’t nobody worried about no SnoopLion .. This dude Just goin thru a midlife Crisis you Go get convertible yet . OG’s out here losin.'”

A string of angry posts from Snoop reportedly includes one in which he likens Azalea to the Marlon Wayans character in “White Chicks,” adding the caption: “U finished b***h cuz I got a lot more where that came from ufunky b***h u!!”
