“Today” show personality Al Roker is attempting a Guinness World Record, with the NBC weatherman aiming for the longest uninterrupted weather report, reports TVNewser.

Roker will try to deliver a weather report for 34 uninterrupted hours, the story reports. The stunt will start Wednesday at 10 p.m. on Today.com and continue all day Thursday. The end, should he achieve his goal, will come at 8 a.m. Friday on the “Today” show.

The attempt will be called the “Rokerthon” and is aiming to exceed the current world record of 24 uninterrupted hours of weather reporting, the New York Daily News reports.

“The Rokerthon will also raise money for Roker’s Shine a Light organization, which supports the armed forces and the USO,” the Daily News adds.
