Actor and comedian Andy Dick, known for his roles on the NBC sitcom “NewsRadio” and ABC’s “Less Than Perfect,” was arrested Friday for alleged grand theft, TMZ reports.

Dick was arrested after allegedly stealing a man’s $1,000 necklace.

“The troubled actor was riding his bike on Hollywood Blvd. last week when he spotted a guy with the chain,” TMZ reports. “Andy rode up and asked if he could see it. The guy recognized Dick and said, ‘Sure.’ Andy then allegedly pulled a Dick move and rode off with the jewelry.”

After the man reported the theft, police spotted Dick near his apartment in Hollywood and arrested him.

Dick, 48, has appeared on “Dancing with the Stars” and is a frequent guest on “Comedy Central Roasts.” He had his own MTV series, “The Andy Dick Show,” for two seasons, from 2001-2002. He reportedly has a series of arrests going back to 1999, on charges including indecent exposure, DUI, drug possession and sexual battery.

Andy Dick

  1. Andy is such a dick.

  2. When will this no talent hack go away. Just fade away Andy. Stop doing s*&t for attention & headlines.
You have sucked since Get Smart and was the weakest link on NewsRadio. Go away and take Kathy Griffin and Wanda Sykes with you.

  3. Andy will go away when the networks and producers stop hiring him. You can’t blame him for taking their money if they are stupid enough to give it to him.
