After reports that actress Jenna Coleman was planning to leave “Doctor Who,” the BBC reports that Coleman will be sticking with the show for another season.

Coleman has portrayed Clara Oswald, a companion to the Time Lord, for two Doctors. She first co-starred with Matt Smith, and is now acting opposite Peter Capaldi, who just ended his first season as the title character.

“It’s wonderful,” Coleman said. “I get a whole other series of stories with the Doctor, and I couldn’t walk away with the story being unresolved.”

She added, “There is so much more to do. I think they’ve finally just reached a point where they really understand each other.”
