Music producer and manager Scooter Braun has a music drama project in the works for the CW with Tony nominee Todd Graff, The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports.
The project, which is untitled, has been given a script commitment. It focuses on a young manager named Gary Graham who works in a world where social media can immediately impact careers, the story notes.
The drama is slated to include original songs along with cameos from pop culture stars. Graff will write the script and executive produce with Tony Krantz of Flame Ventures and Braun.
If the project goes to series, it would be Braun’s second scripted TV project on-air, following CBS’s “Scorpion,” which has been picked up for a full season, the piece notes.
