NBCUniversal Promotes Executive in Hispanic Content Role

NBCUniversal has promoted Meara Abramson Valenzuela to senior vice president, planning and strategy, Hispanic enterprises and content, reports TheWrap.com.

The story notes, “In her New York-based role, Abramson Valenzuela will support strategic decision-making and lead the analysis, planning and execution of key projects across the division’s businesses, which include Telemundo Network, Studios, Digital, Stations, Cable and International.”

Before her promotion, she was vice president of advertising sales planning, where she worked on planning and deal structures for Telemundo and mun2, the story notes. She has worked at NBCUniversal since 2004.
