Syndicated Court Show Is Renewed

A court program that ranks as the top new first-run syndicated show of the season has been renewed. Deadline.com reports that “Hot Bench,” which was created by Judge Judy Sheindlin, has been picked up for a second season by CBS TV Distribution.

The story notes, “Additionally, it will move to CBS-owned affiliates in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Boston, Miami and Denver on March 30, through the 2016 season.”

The show stars Patricia DiMango, Tanya Acker and Larry Bakman, and is averaging a 1.5 household rating and 2 million viewers for the season to date, for Live + SD viewing, the piece reports.
