The list of the 10 most pirated shows of 2014 is out, and the most pirated show this year is the one that also topped the list in 2012 and 2013, reports Deadline.com.

For the third consecutive year, HBO’s “Game of Thrones” was the most downloaded TV show on illegal file-sharing torrent sites around the globe, the story says, citing estimates from TorrentFreak.com.

More people downloaded “Game of Thrones” than actually watched it on HBO, the story adds. About 8 million people downloaded the show, compared with the 7.16 million people who watched it on HBO.

“The Walking Dead” was second in the top 10. It was downloaded 4.8 million times, compared with 17.29 million TV viewers, according to TorrentFreak.
