Among the Gallup Poll’s annual list of the world’s most admired men are some likely names, including Pope Francis and Bill Gates, but there’s one TV personality who made the cut this year: Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly, reports TVNewser.

“Former presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, Pope Francis, Vladimir Putin and Bill Gates seem like obvious choices based on power and wealth,” the report notes. “Rev. Billy Graham is a mainstay on the list, with an unprecedented 58 appearances. ‘The O’Reilly Factor’ host made the list for the first time in his career.”

President Obama tops the list for the seventh year in a row. The organization’s website lists a top 11, which also includes Ben Carson, Stephen Hawking and Benjamin Netanyahu.

Gallup also released a list of the 10 most admired women, with Hillary Clinton topping the list for the 13th year in a row. She’s followed, in order, by Oprah Winfrey, Malala Yousafzai, Condoleezza Rice, Michelle Obama, Angelina Jolie, Sarah Palin, Princess Kate, Elizabeth Warren and Laura Bush.

  1. For a substantial number of the names presented here, I can only think that most of the people polled have exceptionally low standards for qualities that could be considered admirable.

I’d be hard pressed to pick two… out of both lists.
