Netflix announced this week that it is now offering its streaming service in Cuba the Los Angeles Times reports.

“The move comes as Internet access on the island improves and international credit and debit card companies become more widely available in the country,” the Times reports.

About 27% of Cubans reportedly have Internet access, the piece notes. Those who have that access and an available means of international payment will reportedly be able to subscribe for $7.99 a month starting this week.
