A new comic-to-TV adaptation from “The Walking Dead’s” Robert Kirkman has received a series order. The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that Cinemax picked up Kirkman’s “Outcast.”

The HBO sibling ordered 10 episodes, with a premiere date still to be decided, the report notes.

“Based on Kirkman’s newest ‘Skybound’ comic, ‘Outcast’ centers on Kyle Barnes (Patrick Fugit), who has been plagued by possession since he was a child,” THR reports. “Now an adult, he embarks on a spiritual journey to find answers, but what he uncovers could mean the end of life on Earth as we know it.”
