An actor with a busy career on television and in feature films — who’s best-known for his role in the “Austin Powers” movies — reportedly suffered a seizure while he was signing autographs.

Starpulse reports that Verne Troyer, who plays Mini-Me, was making an appearance at the Heart of Texas Comic Con in Waco over the weekend when he had what the report calls a minor seizure.

Troyer was taken to the hospital as “a precautionary measure,” according to his rep. Tests taken at the hospital reportedly indicated the actor was fine.

Troyer later sent out a tweet to his followers, saying: “Everything’s ok guys. Thanks for the concern.” He also sent out a video in which he indicated he planned to do additional signings the next day.

Highlights of Troyer’s TV career include roles on “Boston Public” and “Scrubs.”
