The show that has been declared the breakout hit of the 2014-15 broadcast TV season is headed to streaming service Hulu.

The show is the Fox drama “Empire.”

Hulu announced today: “In a new deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, Hulu becomes the exclusive SVOD home to TV’s biggest hit of the year … airing current AND future episodes.”

Hulu’s announcement adds: “Coming off an explosive first season, ‘Empire’ has skyrocketed to become broadcast’s No. 1 new series. The exciting drama remains the only primetime broadcast series that has grown week to week in viewers throughout its first ten episodes, an impressive ratings feat not achieved in at least 23 years!”
