Comedy Central has made the decision to delete a number of jokes about actor Paul Walker from the upcoming Justin Bieber roast, The Washington Post reports.

Walker, a star of the “Fast and Furious” movies, died in 2013 in a car crash.

The Bieber roast, honoring the singer’s 21st birthday, airs March 30.

In a statement today, a spokesperson for Comedy Central said: “Roasts often push the limits of good taste and we give the participants full rein to try things knowing we have the edit to shape the show. Sometimes the line is discovered by crossing it. The Paul Walker references will not be in the telecast.”

The Post quotes a number of Walker references, including Natasha Leggero jabbing another roast participant and quipping: “I’m not saying Martha Stewart is old, but she needs a new Walker more than the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise.”

The Post adds: “Roaster Pete Davidson of ‘Saturday Night Live’ also referenced Mr. Bieber’s arrest for drag racing over the past year, saying, ‘Unfortunately, it wasn’t with Paul Walker,’ People magazine reported.”

When his comment was greeted with boos, Davidson reportedly added: “What? He’s doing great! He’s got a movie coming out!” Walker’s final movie, “Furious 7,” is set to open April 3.
