A new TV documentary premiering this weekend aims to clear up some of the many myths surrounding Frank Sinatra, one of the biggest figures in the history of American popular culture.
To preview the event, TVWeek Open Mic writer Hillary Atkin takes a look at the unique approach taken by filmmaker Alex Gibney, whose two-part HBO project “Sinatra: All or Nothing at All” bows Sunday, April 5, and Monday, April 6.
Atkin got the lowdown straight from Gibney, who also has been in the spotlight for his recent project “Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief.”
