‘Fashion Police’ Feud Still Raging

Tempers continue to run hot following the shakeup at E!’s “Fashion Police” that went down after co-host Giuliana Rancic famously dissed Zendaya’s hair back in February.

In the latest news, Us Weekly reports that Rancic, who has remained with the show, appears to be holding a grudge against Kelly Osbourne, who left the show in protest over Rancic’s remarks. The report says Rancic remains upset that Osbourne, her former friend, didn’t support her when she was under fire for her controversial comments.

The report quotes an inside source saying: “Kelly is dead to Giuliana.”

Us reports: “After Rancic mused on-air Feb. 23 that Osbourne’s friend Zendaya, who wore dreadlocks at the Oscars, ‘smells like patchouli oil, or maybe weed,’ the women stopped speaking. One source says that Rancic feels Osbourne, 30 — who tweeted, ‘I DO NOT CONDONE RACISM,’ and quit the show after the incident — ‘threw her under the bus.'”

Rancic, who apologized about her Zendaya comments, has blamed editing for at least part of the hassle. She offered that explanation on “Today” April 6, also indicating that the remarks came from the writers’ room.

“The same day, Osbourne cryptically tweeted, ‘Liars always get caught.’ The timing of the tweet was no coincidence, says a source: ‘It was about Giuliana,'” the Us report notes.

“Fashion Police” co-host Kathy Griffin, who replaced the late Joan Rivers, also left the show in the wake of the Rancic-Zendaya incident.

  1. Rancic should’ve known those comments would cause controversy. It was a bigoted thing to say, but it is forgivable. We’ve all said stupid things and learned from them. Even though, she didn’t write the silly comments, she delivered and gets blamed. Next time, she’ll be smarter.

  2. This show should be dead to everyone.
