Netflix is putting together an eight-part series that is its most ambitious documentary project to date. Variety reports that the streaming service is working with Silverback Films and the conservation group WWF on “Our Planet,” from the creators of “Planet Earth.”

The nature documentary will examine remote wilderness areas worldwide.

The four-year project, to be shot in Ultra HD 4K, is scheduled to premiere in 2019.

“The series is being produced by Silverback Films, led by Alastair Fothergill and Keith Scholey, who created ‘Planet Earth,’ ‘Frozen Planet’ and ‘Blue Planet’ for the BBC and which aired in the U.S. on Discovery Channel,” Variety notes. “They’re also the team behind Walt Disney Studios’ Disneynature films ‘Earth,’ ‘Bears,’ ‘African Cats’ and ‘Chimpanzee.’”
