Two news anchors who compete against each other in the No. 33 DMA recently got married. The San Antonio Express-News reports that Isis Romero, an anchor on KSAT-TV, and Phil Anaya, who co-anchors weekends on KENS-TV, tied the knot over Easter weekend.
KENS, a CBS affiliate, is owned by Gannett, while ABC affiliate KSAT is owned by Graham Media Group.
The couple wedded in San Antonio’s picturesque Old San Francisco Steakhouse.
Said Romero: “The ceremony was intimate, heartfelt, emotional, and unique to us. We included special surprise readings from our close friends and family, and recited our own vows. We laughed, we cried, we celebrated. It was a perfect day!”
