CBS released its prime-time slate for the fall season today, with three new dramas joining the lineup this fall along with two new comedies. The network has one of the most stable lineups on television, with 22 prime-time series set to return.

In a year-round programming strategy, CBS will continue to roll out new and returning series during the course of the season.

Among the highlights the network is pointing to, “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” is set to bow Sept. 8, and the two-hour series finale of “CSI” is on for Sept. 27, with original cast members including William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger to rejoin the show for the sendoff.

CBS will also be heavily committed to NFL programming, with “NFL Thursday Night Football” launching Sept. 17, and Super Bowl 50 set for Feb. 7, 2016.

New fall dramas are “Code Black,” “Limitless” and “Supergirl,” with the new comedies “Angel From Hell” and “Life in Pieces” also on tap for fall.

Later in the season, the new drama series “Rush Hour” and “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” will debut.
