Sunday’s series finale of AMC’s critically acclaimed drama “Mad Men” drew a huge audience, including setting a series record in adults 25-54, the Los Angeles Times reports.
The finale averaged 3.3 million total viewers, according to Nielsen figures. The turnout was the highest since the 2013 season opener, which attracted 3.4 million viewers. The all-time series high was 3.5 million, for the premiere episode of the 2012 season.
The turnout in the 25-54 demo was a series record, 1.7 million.
The ratings will almost certainly get even better once the Live +3 ratings, which include DVR usage, are added once they are available.
