Showtime’s “Masters of Sex” and Lifetime’s “Devious Maids” were among the big winners of the 2015 Vision Awards, presented by the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC). The awards honor original, multiethnic and multicultural television programming that depicts the lives, spirit and contributions of people of color and best reflects the diversity of the viewing audience.
Among the other winners, Raul Castillo (HBO’s “Raul Castillo: Looking”) and Don Cheadle (Showtime’s “House of Lies”) tied for best performance, comedy. Michael Kenneth Williams took the prize for best performance, drama, for HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire.”
