A famous TV chef was honored Tuesday with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but the ceremony was accompanied by a protest from the chef’s estranged wife.
TMZ.com reports that amid a bitter divorce between TV chef Bobby Flay and actress Stephanie March, in which March has accused Flay of cheating on her, a plane flew in the vicinity of Flay’s Walk of Fame ceremony for about an hour towing a banner reading “Cheater” in block letters.
Flay is a Food Network star who has been a part of shows including “Boy Meets Grill,” “Throwdown! with Bobby Flay,” “The Best Thing I Ever Ate” and “Worst Cooks in America,” among other shows.
Flay, 50, was reportedly joined at the ceremony by his mother, Dorothy, his daughter Sophie, and his ex-wife, Sophie’s mom Kate Connelly. E! Online notes that he became the first celebrity chef in history to be honored with a star on the Walk of Fame.
