The longest-running prime-time scripted series on cable just received an extension from its network to run for another three seasons. Comedy Central announced that the extension will add seasons 21, 22 and 23 to the impressive run for the animated hit “South Park.”

The deal with show creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone is for 30 new episodes, which will bring the show’s total to 304 episodes, running through 2019. Parker and Stone will continue to write, direct and edit all episodes, as they have done since the show debuted in 1997.

“South Park’s” 19th season is set to premiere Wednesday, Sept. 16.
