One of the stars of Food Network has been hospitalized after experiencing a setback following a double-mastectomy.

ABC News reports that lifestyle guru Sandra Lee, known for TV shows such as “Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee,” experienced a medical complication Tuesday night.

The report quotes a rep for Lee saying: “There was a setback [on Tuesday night] due to what may be an infection post-mastectomy. But Sandra is her ever-fighting self.”

Lee, a Daytime Emmy Award winner, has written 25 books on cooking and is behind the magazine Sandra Lee Semi-Homemade. Among her recent shows are “Sandra’s Restaurant Remakes” and “Sandra Lee’s Taverns, Lounges & Clubs.”

Lee, 49, has kept fans informed about her medical situation via Facebook, writing Aug. 3: “Maintaining a positive attitude and surrounding myself with only good vibes is what helps me get through my appointments and helps me to continue to get stronger!”
