Donald Trump is embroiled in yet another controversy over his outspoken comments. In the latest incident, Trump has been roundly criticized for attacking the appearance of Republican presidential rival Carly Fiorina.
Trump is quoted in a newly released Rolling Stone interview saying of Fiorina: “Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?! I mean, she’s a woman, and I’m not s’posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?”
Fiorina, who is the only woman in the GOP presidential race, responded to the comments Wednesday in an interview with Megyn Kelly on Fox News.
“I think those comments speak for themselves,” Fiorina said. “Honestly, Megyn, I’m not going to spend a single cycle wondering what Donald Trump means. But maybe, just maybe, I’m getting under his skin a little bit, because I am climbing in the polls.”
On CNN this morning, Trump tried to reframe his remarks, telling “New Day’s” Chris Cuomo: “I’m not talking about looks. I’m talking about persona.”
He’s such a jerk, in both looks and persona.
Trump IS a jerk, but here he’s kind of right; Fiorina has that same “crazy face” as Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin. You can almost see the insanity in her eyes.
Yes folks, this is who 35% of the Republicans are rallying around. It says volumes about what kind of people call themselves Republicans. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving group.
Whether you like Trump or not, he isn’t a liar and under federal investigation.
