Just days after revealing that he refused to do a Bill Cosby bit on the “Saturday Night Live” anniversary show because of a string of sexual assault allegations against Cosby, Eddie Murphy broke out some new Cosby material after all.
The AP reports that Murphy fired off a few Cosby jokes — and broke out his Cosby impression — during his acceptance speech for the Mark Twain Prize, presented Sunday in Washington by the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
Among the many comedians who came out to pay tribute to Murphy were Tracy Morgan, Kathy Griffin, Chris Rock, Kevin Nealon, Trevor Noah and Arsenio Hall.
