An ABC drama series is the first new show to be canceled this season, with the network pulling the plug on “Wicked City” after just three episodes aired, Deadline.com reports.
“After a low-rated premiere followed by two consecutive ratings drops, most recently a 43% Week 3 dive to a 0.4 Live+Same Day rating among adults 18-49, the period thriller is being canceled,” Deadline reports. “Production on the show will stop after completing Episode 8, which is currently filming.”
“Shark Tank” reruns will be plugged into “Wicked City’s” 10 p.m. Tuesday slot starting this week, the report notes.
The show, about a killing spree in Los Angeles in the 1980s, premiered to a 0.9 rating in 18-49, followed by a 0.7 and last week’s 0.4, the story reports.
“The 0.4 18-49 rating was the lowest number for a Big 4 original telecast this fall and was the lowest-rated program on an English-language broadcast network on Tuesday,” the Deadline report adds.

So sad to hear about this I really loved the show
Poor concept that never should have gone beyond a phone conversation.
