One of the regulars on Fox News Channel is stepping down and will be leaving the network. Elisabeth Hasselbeck announced that she is exiting her spot on “Fox & Friends” to focus on raising her family.
Hasselbeck, who was a co-host of ABC’s “The View” for 10 years, jumped to Fox News in 2013, two months after leaving “The View.” She has three children.
Fox News said in its official announcement that Hasselbeck will leave the network at the end of the year, although it did not provide an exact date.
In a statement, Hasselbeck said: “With a heart full of gratitude and the peace that God has given me, I am confident that this personal decision is the right one for our family, and we will be joining all of you watching ‘Fox & Friends’ each morning as we get ready for school together.”
