One of the stars of the CBS series “NCIS” says she feared she would be killed by a psychotic homeless man with “murder in his eyes” when she was attacked while walking near her home Thursday evening.

Pauley Perrette, who plays forensic specialist Abby Sciuto on the long-running procedural, wrote about the confrontation on Twitter, the New York Post reports.

“Perrette was walking across her street to her guest house in Los Angeles at about 5 p.m. Thursday when she was attacked by the vagrant,” the Post reports. “She wrote on Twitter the homeless man pinned her arm, punched her in the nose and repeatedly told the terrified actress, ‘I’m going to kill you.’”

Perrette wrote: “There was an empty garage behind me and I knew if he got me in there I was dead. I knew I couldn’t overcome him.”

The man eventually ceased the attack and told Perrette, “Get the f–k out of here,” according to the report. Perrette was able to give police a description of the man, who was reportedly arrested.
