After turning in one of the highest-rated seasons in cable history for a freshman series, AMC’s “Breaking Bad” spinoff “Better Call Saul” has its season two premiere set for Feb. 15, Variety reports.
The cable net announced that “Saul” will again air Mondays at 10 p.m.
“On its opening night, its competition will include the Grammy Awards on CBS, with the kudocast moving away from its traditional Sunday timeslot due to a holiday weekend and Valentine’s Day,” Variety reports, noting that “Saul” also opened its first season against the Grammys as it led out from “The Walking Dead” on a Sunday before settling into its Monday slot.
“The prequel to ‘Breaking Bad’ debuted last February as the season’s No. 1 new series on cable among adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers,” Variety notes.
