‘Saturday Night Live’ Dips to Lowest Overnights of the Season

Dec 14, 2015  •  Post A Comment

Saturday’s installment of the NBC sketch show “Saturday Night Live” turned in the season’s lowest overnight ratings for the show. TVbytheNumbers.com reports that “SNL,” with host Chris Hemsworth, delivered a 1.8 average rating in the key 18-49 demo in overnight metered markets along with a 3.8 average in households.

It was the second consecutive decline for “SNL” the report notes. Both numbers were down 0.2 from a week earlier.

The previous season low in the 18-49 demo was a 1.9, which happened twice during the season. In households the previous low was a 3.9 on Oct. 10, when Amy Schumer hosted.

  1. Yeah it’s just not that funny anymore…no great stars. Just average…

  2. Lib media is seeing declines all over. “Humor” the reminds people of the problems they are facing is not as funny as it used to be. Amy Schumer = lowest ratings, Donald Trump = highest ratings!!?? Media – even sketch comedy needs to search hard for a tiny bit of journalistic integrity and add it back into the mix. Today they have none!
