What’s the Most-Watched NFL Game So Far This Season?

A recent NFL clash has emerged as the most-watched NFL game of the 2015 season. The game was the showdown between the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day, televised by CBS Sports.

The game was won by Carolina, 33-14. CBS announced that the game had 32.6 million total viewers, based on Nielsen Live+Same Day national ratings.

“The 32.5 million viewers is up +11% from last year’s 29.4 million (Chicago vs. Detroit; 12:39-3:56 PM, ET) and is the most-watched Thanksgiving Day game for the AFC television package since 1995 (35.7 million; Kansas City-Dallas, 11/23/95, 4:00-7:09 PM, ET, NBC),” CBS Sports announced, adding: “Thursday’s viewership also was up +2% from last year’s comparable window (Philadelphia vs. Dallas; 32.0 million, FOX; 4:36-7:54 PM, ET).”
