36th Annual Razzie Award Nominations: Big-Budget, High-Profile Movies Dominate the List

The nominations are out for the Razzie Awards, the counterpart to the Oscars honoring the worst achievements in film. On the awards’ website, the Razzie Awards announced:

“All five films up for Worst Picture at this year’s 36th Annual Razzie Awards are big-budget/high-profile productions that have no excuse for being among the year’s ‘berry’ worst. And 2015’s acting contenders include popular stars like Johnny Depp, Channing Tatum, and Kayley Cuoco-Sweeting, previous Oscar winners Gwyneth Paltrow, Eddie Redmaine and Julianne Moore, and such Razzie Repeat Offenders as Adam Sandler, Jennifer Lopez and Katherine Heigl.”

The recipients will be “honored” in a ceremony set for Saturday, Feb. 27, the day before the Oscars.

Worst Actor

  1. This is so funny and sounds like a lot of fun! Hopefully the Razzie trophy will have a place next to the Oscars and Golden Globe awards some of these actors have received. Being nominated and receiving a Razzie is a good thing!!

  2. It is amazing that they are able to narrow it down to only 5 per category.
