Fox Has Its Lead for New ’24’ Reboot

Jan 25, 2016  •  Post A Comment

Fox has lined up the lead for “24: Legacy,” with Kiefer Sutherland exiting the series and “Straight Outta Comption” actor Corey Hawkins stepping in.

E! News reports that Hawkins will play a new lead character, Eric Carter. The network’s official description reads: “Strong and smart, Eric came from a very rough background and turned his life around in the Army Rangers. Now back home in Virginia with his wife Nicole, he’s pulled back into action as his past comes looking for him.”

The project was just announced last week. E! News notes that even though many of the cast members from the original “24” resurfaced in the 2014 reboot “24: Live Another Day,” the regulars will apparently not be a part of the upcoming version.
