A number of not-that-old but nonetheless classic TV shows are headed to Hulu. The Los Angeles Times reports that “The Shield,” “Dawson’s Creek,” “Party of Five” and “Damages” are among the shows the streaming service is acquiring in a new library deal with Sony.
Craig Erwich, head of content for Hulu, announced the deal during the Television Critics Association press tour. The agreement also covers movies such as “Jerry Maguire” and “My Best Friend’s Wedding.”
The new content will be offered through Hulu’s No Commericals and Limited Commercials plans, the report notes.
