Netflix has placed a straight-to-series order for a new project that brings a YouTube celebrity to the streaming service. Variety reports that the series is focused on Miranda Sings, a character created by Colleen Ballinger-Evans.

The show, “Haters Back Off,” received an eight-episode order, with no launch date set yet.

Miranda Sings has a huge following on YouTube. “In November 2015 alone, Miranda Sings’ YouTube videos … garnered 52.4 million views, according to digital-video tracking firm Tubular Labs, which ranked her first in ‘influencer score’ among U.S. digital-native stars in the comedy category,” Variety reports.
