Showrunners on Long-Running CBS Drama Step Down

The showrunners on a popular CBS drama series are stepping down. The Los Angeles Times reports that the husband-and-wife team of Robert and Michelle King will step down from their roles on “The Good Wife” after the conclusion of the current season.

The show is in its seventh season. The Kings are busy working on a second series, the comic sci-fi thriller “BrainDead,” set to air on CBS this summer.

CBS President Glenn Geller was non-committal on whether this spells the end to “The Good Wife.” “It’s just January so we haven’t determined if there will be another season or not,” he said.
