A television series that’s in the works from legendary film director Woody Allen will star Miley Cyrus. Deadline.com reports that the pop singer and “Hannah Montana” alumna is on board along with comedy veteran Elaine May.
Allen also will reportedly star in the project, which is taking shape at Amazon. The series is set for six half-hour episodes.
The report notes that the show, which is written and directed by Allen, is set in the 1960s — adding that not much else is known about it.
