One of the legal cases against Bill Cosby, in which the comedian is accused of defamation in a lawsuit filed by model Janice Dickinson, is scheduled to be considered for dismissal today, the AP reports.
“The comedian’s attorneys want Dickinson’s case to be dismissed because they say Dickinson has given differing accounts of her interactions with Cosby over the years,” the story reports. “Dickinson sued Cosby in May over his denial of her claims that he drugged and raped her in Lake Tahoe in 1982. She says she tried to include the story in a 2002 memoir, but her publisher refused.”
Dickinson, who has been described as the first supermodel, has appeared on a number of reality shows over the years, including “America’s Next Top Model” and “The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency.” She was reportedly called a liar by a former attorney for Cosby over her accusations against the comedian. The model alleges in the suit that comments from Cosby’s camp made her feel she was being victimized all over again.
