The New York-based aviation startup Blade is expanding to the West Coast, starting off with a service that will bring fans from Los Angeles to Palm Springs for the Coachella Valley Music Festival, the New York Post reports.

The initiative is a partnership with Uber. The festival gets under way April 15, and tickets for the chopper rides, priced at $695 per person, go on sale today. An Uber SUV service picks up fans in Palm Springs for a ride to the music festival.

The short-haul helicopter service is run by former Warner Music executive Rob Wiesenthal.

“Blade got started by offering heli-rides from Manhattan to the Hamptons,” the Post notes. “Last weekend it provided speedboat service from Miami’s South Beach to the Ultra Music festival.”

  1. I remember going to the festival before and the only downside to those trips was transportation. Because there was not much choice, either a cab or a hitchhiker, but sometimes these options were not available. So this situation gave me a lot of negative emotions. As time went on, I got older and started using a shuttle service. This helped me to avoid negative emotions . So if you want to get more info about shuttle service, it is definitely for a good reason. It will make your trips to vacations or concerts very much easier
