Camille Cosby Deposition Delayed

Mar 10, 2016  •  Post A Comment

Camille Cosby, the wife of Bill Cosby, has been granted extra time before a deposition she has been required to give in a Massachusetts case in which seven women are suing her husband for defamation.

The AP reports that Camille Cosby, who gave her first deposition in the case on Feb. 22, will now continue the deposition April 18. The second day had been scheduled for next week but her attorneys requested more time.

Joseph Cammarata, an attorney representing the women, said he hopes to depose Bill Cosby soon after his wife’s deposition is completed, the AP reports. The comedian also has a criminal sexual assault case pending against him in Pennsylvania, and his attorneys have attempted to have the defamation case suspended until the criminal case is resolved.
