In an effort to reach cord-cutting millennial viewers, The Walt Disney Co. has made ABC, ESPN, Disney Channel and other channels available on Sony’s PlayStation Vue streaming service, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Meanwhile, Sony is cutting the price of PlayStation Vue by $10, to $40 a month. The package is currently offered in seven cities, including Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, the Times notes.
The move comes as Disney and others face growing concerns among investors over cord cutting. ESPN and Disney Channel are already offered on Dish Network’s $20-a-month Sling TV service.
