The O.J. Simpson murder trial is back in the public eye in a big way, with FX’s “The People v O.J. Simpson” knocking it out of the park in the cable ratings. Now another cable network, Esquire, is ready to roll out its own version of the trial: the real one.
Deadline.com reports that Esquire will air what the publication calls a “Juice-a-thon” — a 12-hour marathon of Simpson trial coverage set for April 3, starting at 9 a.m.
Esquire’s “The Real O.J. Simpson Trial” will include actual courtroom footage along with press coverage of the 1995 murder trial, in which Simpson was acquitted of killing his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.
