“Robert Knepper, Rockmond Dunbar and Amaury Nolasco Return to ‘Prison Break,’ an all-new event series premiering in the 2016-2017 season on Fox,” the network announced on Thursday.

The announcement continues, “They’ll join the previously announced Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell and Sarah Wayne Callies.”

The press release adds, “An immediate critical and ratings hit when the original series premiered in the fall of 2005, the new event series will hit the ground running, reuniting the original producing team, including series creator Paul T. Scheuring (‘Klondike’), Neal Moritz (‘The Fast and the Furious’ franchise), Marty Adelstein (‘Aquarius,’ ‘Last Man Standing’) and Dawn Olmstead (“’The Whispers,’ ‘Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce’), who return to executive-produce the new series, with Scheuring serving as showrunner/writer.”

  1. Well, so much for Legends Of Tomorrow, then….

  2. This will have little to no effect on “Legends of Tomorrow “. This is another Fox ‘event’ series that will be a short run, probably produced while everyone’s on hiatus from their day jobs.
