AMC Theatres announced that, as a tribute to Prince, it will bring “Purple Rain” back to theaters for a limited run. The theater chain said it will show the movie at 87 of its locations throughout the U.S.
The special run launches this Saturday, April 23, and continues to April 28.
The movie first came out in July 1984.
