The point man in Fox Broadcasting’s relationships with its affiliates is leaving the company. In a report on TVNewsCheck, Adam Buckman reports that Jon Hookstratten, EVP, broadcast distribution, Fox Networks Group, will exit in late May after managing affiliate relations since 2005.
Hookstratten is taking a voluntary buyout that was offered by the network, the story reports, citing a source at Fox.
“The buyout is being offered to many of the company’s employees as it seeks to cut costs and undergo a reorganization that has been under way since February in advance of the 2017 fiscal year starting in July, according to published reports,” the story notes.
