CBS has pulled the plug on a prime-time drama series. News that the network had canceled “CSI: Cyber” surfaced in tweets today from the show’s cast members.
The show aired for two season on CBS, with the season two finale — now the series finale — televised March 13. Stars Patricia Arquette and James Van Der Beek were among those taking to Twitter after they received the news.
Van Der Beek got the ball rolling with a tweet today that read: “Well, guys, it’s official. #CSICyber will not be renewed for a third season.”
Arquette wrote: “Wanted to thank the @CSICyber fans for your support and working so hard to keep the show on. I have great love and respect for [cast and crew].”
