One of the regulars on NBC’s morning program “Today” is reportedly weighing options, including a spot on “Access Hollywood.” The New York Post reports that Natalie Morales, whose contract expires in October, appears poised to make a move.
Morales anchors news segments on “Today” and co-hosts its third hour. The report quotes a source saying, “Natalie is moving to California,” which would suggest that a move to “Access” is a done deal.
“If that happens, NBC would essentially be swapping current ‘Access Hollywood’ host Billy Bush for Morales,” the report notes. “Bush is expected to join ‘Today’ as a co-host in its third hour at 9 a.m. ahead of the Summer Olympics.”
The report notes that reps for Morales have also had early talks with ABC about a possible move to “Good Morning America.”
Natalie is a seasoned pro, in every sense of the words. She’s weathered the various flare ups at Today with dignity and alacrity. I am sure her legion of fans wish her the very best in whatever career moves lie ahead.
Natalie is a class act. I wish I could say that for that blonde big mouth windy witch that sides with Matt now. I truly hate watching NBC. GOOD MORNING AMERICA ALL MY FRIENDS ARE COMING YOUR WAY . IF IT WASNT FOR AL MANY WOULD HAVE LEFT A LONG TIME AGO!!! One could only hope that maternity leave would be a permanent one !
I have watched the Today show for many years but when I heard Tamron Hall was replaced by Megan Kelly I was very disappointed. I will miss seeing the others but I will no longer watch the program. Very bad choice.
